Talent Acquisition Specialist

The talent acquisition specialist is tasked with supporting our hiring managers, building high-performance teams and partnering wherever needed. This requires that we source and hire across all teams but primarily engineering; helping to drive our product and ultimately continue to expand our business globally. Create robust pipelines while making each candidate feel like they're the only one you're talking to. Be knowledgeable about our business and be on point for HR related questions (i.e. benefits, comp, etc).

 

Julia Computing's mission is to develop products that bring Julia's superpowers to its customers. Julia Computing's flagship product is JuliaHub, a secure, cloud based, software-as-a-service platform for developing Julia programs, deploying them, and scaling to thousands of nodes. Julia Computing was founded in 2015 by the creators of the Julia programming language for artificial intelligence, machine learning, analytics, data science, modeling and simulation.

 

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with business teams in order to deeply understand teams’ organization structure, responsibilities, strengths/weaknesses and key business drivers. Utilize this information to develop the most effective recruiting strategies
  • Sourcing, recruiting and hiring
  • Proficient with job board & social media recruiting
  • Active participation in the full cycle recruiting efforts, including emphasis on the capability of assessment skills to help evaluating candidates and ensuring the highest bar. Lead final assessment and selection process
  • Manage well on all the data associated with the recruitment process. Data-driven thinking and systematic approaches in achieving the operation excellence
  • Emphasis on continuous improvement, as such it is expected that you will spend time to ensure ongoing education of hiring managers and interviews on recruitment “best practice” and interview skills training
  • Implement the recruitment tools/systems through active collaboration with global contacts

 

Requirements 

  • Engineering graduate or MBA(HR) or postgraduate
  • 4+ years of tech recruiting experience, working in a medium to high volume, high hiring-bar environment (mixed experience in both product and corporate is preferred)
  • Strong sourcing skills with a track record of implementing innovative and effective strategies for sourcing passive candidates
  • Desire to work in a dynamic, aggressively growing environment
  • Diplomatic with a proven ability to build up effective relationships
  • Strong communication and influencing skills

 

Location: This role will be currently remote but the position is based out of Bangalore
