The Platform Release Manager develops and supports documentation, processes and systems in support of ongoing releases and deployment of the JuliaHub software platform. In this role, the Platform Release Manager interfaces with customers, Sales Engineering, Security, Engineering and Customer Operations.
Internal Responsibilities
- Own the master record encompassing all relevant customer data regarding product and platform version
- Provide leadership in the area of testing/QA regarding platform readiness
- Lead planning, execution and reporting for customer release scheduling and execution
- Lead continuous improvement efforts to ensure increased efficiency, and transparency with respect to customer platform readiness
Customer Facing Responsibilities
- Drive the coordination and completion of customer product and platform upgrades.
- Provide clear and consistent customer communication regarding timelines and dependencies with respect to upgrades
- Help triage customer support requests related to the upgrade process
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of computer system installation principles and software development fundamentals
- Working knowledge of Git, AWS, Azure and other enterprise software technologies
- Minimum of 3 year of hands-on software release management experience including document control
- Demonstrated experience working in a fast paced, cross functional environment
